Thanks to the Walter G. Wright Telecom-

Pioneers, Verizon volunteers—both active and

retired—dedicated to building healthy communities,

all third-graders at Prairie Central have

received a dictionary! The Bloomington-

Normal chapter this year produced enough

materials to provide dictionaries for all the

districts that surround Bloomington-Normal,

in addition to District 87 and Unit 5.

Ruth Wilkerson, secretary-treasurer of the

chapter, and an entourage personally presented,

and explained the importance of, the

books to students at Chatsworth, Meadowbrook,

Westview, and Chenoa.
