As the
mother of an airman currently stationed in Qatar, flying into and
out of Iraq and other Middle Eastern countries that end in
"stan", I'm very thankful to be a part of the Pioneer Club
and to know that we had a part in helping provide this service.
Anything we can do to support our troops is greatly appreciated.
Someone,
and I'm sorry to say I do not know who, has provided calling cards
with 100 minutes per month for those at Al Udeid Air Base
where my son is stationed. This allows him to call home and talk
with his 2 daughters, and on occasion to Mom. For this, we are also
grateful.
