Welcome to the home of Verizon West
Chapter #25 TelecomPioneers. We have clubs across the country in
locations of former GTE (and CONTEL) territories. We volunteer in
numerous ways in our communities including: providing dictionaries to
third grade students, painting maps on school playgrounds, reading at
libraries and schools, supporting food banks and soup kitchens, and
much, much more. Take a look at our projects page to see our
volunteers in action.
What is a Pioneer?
Pioneers are people who want to give back to their community. Our
organization allows you to utilize your own unique skills and
interests to give back and make your community a better place to live
and work. A Pioneer can be a person who:
- Enjoys volunteering their time
- Prefers to donate goods/services
- Wants to contribute in a financial manner
If this sounds like you and you’d like to
join a group of volunteers dedicated to community service, then visit
our “Join Us” page to find the electronic membership form. If
you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Verizon West Chapter is dedicated to the
communities where we live and work. Pioneers have a proud tradition
of serving our local communities and that tradition lives on with our
new generation of volunteers.
